Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh and forms part of the Kashi Wildlife Division.

The sanctuary lies within the Vindhyan landscape and contains a combination of forests, streams, waterfalls and rocky terrain.

Wildlife found in the sanctuary includes Leopard, Sloth Bear, Chinkara/Cheetal, Hyena, Fox and Jackal. Numerous bird species and reptiles also occur in the area.

Important natural features of the sanctuary include the Rajdari and Devdari waterfalls. During the monsoon, these waterfalls and the surrounding forest landscape acquire considerable ecological and tourism importance.

The area also supports diverse vegetation and medicinal plants, including Mahua, Amla, Palash, Sal, Neem and several medicinal species.
