Ice Core ग्लेशियर या Ice Sheet में drilling करके निकाला गया बर्फ का बेलनाकार नमूना होता है। बर्फ की परतें समय के साथ जमा होती रहती हैं और उनमें उस समय की environmental तथा atmospheric conditions का record संरक्षित हो सकता है।
