Detailed Solution
Fawaid-al-Fuad is one of the important works of Malfuzat literature in medieval India. The term Malfuzat refers to collections of conversations, teachings and spiritual discourses of Sufi saints.
The work records the conversations and teachings of Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya and was compiled by his disciple and noted Persian poet Amir Hasan Sijzi Dehlavi.
Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya was one of the most prominent saints of the Chishti Sufi Order. His khanqah in Delhi became an important centre of spiritual and social activity.
Fawaid-al-Fuad is also valuable to historians because it provides insights into the social, economic and cultural life of the Delhi Sultanate period, apart from recording Sufi teachings and ethical ideas.
Amir Hasan Sijzi → Fawaid-al-Fuad
Amir Khusro → Khazain-ul-Futuh, Tughlaq Nama, Nuh Sipihr etc.
Ziauddin Barani → Tarikh-i-Firoz Shahi, Fatwa-i-Jahandari
