Detailed Solution

A. Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana — ₹55 to ₹200 per month. PM-SYM is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme for workers in the unorganised sector. The monthly contribution of a beneficiary depends on the age at which he or she joins the scheme. A person entering at age 18 contributes ₹55 per month, while a person entering at age 40 contributes ₹200 per month. The Central Government makes an equal matching contribution. An assured pension of ₹3,000 per month is provided after attaining the age of 60 years.

B. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana — ₹436 per year. PMJJBY is a one-year renewable life insurance scheme. Its annual premium is ₹436, and it provides life cover of ₹2 lakh in case of death of the insured due to any cause.

C. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana — ₹20 per year. PMSBY is an accident insurance scheme with an annual premium of ₹20. It provides ₹2 lakh for accidental death or specified total permanent disability and ₹1 lakh for specified partial permanent disability.

D. Atal Pension Yojana — Beneficiary's choice. Here, “choice” does not mean that the subscriber can contribute any arbitrary amount. The subscriber chooses a guaranteed monthly pension slab of ₹1,000, ₹2,000, ₹3,000, ₹4,000 or ₹5,000; the actual contribution is then determined by the joining age, chosen pension slab and contribution frequency.

Current Status (2026): The principal rates given in the question continue to remain relevant—PMJJBY carries an annual premium of ₹436, PMSBY ₹20, and the beneficiary contribution under PM-SYM continues to range from ₹55 to ₹200 per month. The Government has approved continuation of the Atal Pension Yojana up to 2030-31.
