Detailed Solution

Gurumahisani — Odisha (A-3): Gurumahisani, generally spelt Gorumahisani in official records, is an important iron-ore area in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Gorumahisani, Badampahar and Suleipat are major iron-ore deposits of Mayurbhanj. The principal iron ore found here is hematite.

Bailadila — Chhattisgarh (B-4): The Bailadila iron-ore region lies in South Bastar-Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. The Bailadila Range contains several iron-ore deposits, with high-grade hematite being the major ore. NMDC has been closely associated with the development of the major iron-ore deposits of this region.

Noamundi — Jharkhand (C-1): The Noamundi iron-ore mine is situated in West Singhbhum district, Jharkhand. Indian Bureau of Mines records it as a fully mechanised opencast iron-ore mine, with its first opening date recorded as 1 June 1925. It is one of India's old and important iron-ore mining centres.

Kudremukh — Karnataka (D-2): Kudremukh is a famous iron-ore region in Karnataka. KIOCL, formerly known as Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited, was established on 2 April 1976 for mining and beneficiation of low-grade iron ore at Kudremukh. The deposit is especially associated with magnetite-rich low-grade ore.
