B.
2007–2012
C.
2002–2007
D.

Correct Answer: B

Detailed Solution

India's Eleventh Five-Year Plan covered the period 2007–2012. The Plan was approved by the National Development Council (NDC) on 19 December 2007.

The central vision of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan was “Faster and More Inclusive Growth.” Its objective was not merely to achieve rapid GDP growth but also to ensure that the benefits of development reached the poor, weaker sections, rural areas and different states more broadly. The Plan set a target of an average 9% GDP growth for the five-year period 2007–08 to 2011–12.

A useful sequence for remembering the Plan periods is: Tenth Plan = 2002–07, Eleventh Plan = 2007–12, and Twelfth Plan = 2012–17. The same sequence is officially recorded in NITI Aayog's Planning Commission Archive.
